Mentoring Criteria

In keeping with the Beauty Revolution ethos of beauty as a source of pleasure and not pressure, we will not be playing off the entries against each other and “judging” them.

The methodology for showcasing disruptors will be as follows:

  1. All mentors will receive a pack containing the names of our top 10 disruptors via e-mail on 24 February 2020

  2. None of the mentors will meet in real life to discuss the disruptors since we do not want to compare the disruptors to each other but merit each business individually

  3. All mentors will be supplied criteria (see below) and score each of the disruptors according to their strengths. You have an opportunity to also comment on each of the scores to help build the disruptors brand. Your advice is highly appreciated.

  4. All mentors will send their scores back to the Beauty Revolution team by 2 March 2020

  5. At the Future of Beauty Summit on 5 March 2020, each disruptor will get to pitch their business and their vision for growth. All mentors will score them once more. Their pitch will be 2:30min

  6. The final scores will be tallied and the final winner will be announced on the evening of the Future of Beauty Summit.

  7. If there is a tie, the Beauty Revolution team will consult each mentor individually and make a final decision.
